The viral post even attributed the supposed announcement to a notable news outlet, making the claim appear more credible, but there’s just one problem: the report isn’t real at all.

The claim appears to be a social-media rumour presented as breaking entertainment news. While these posts linked the "breaking news" to Deadline, no such article or announcement exists on the publication's official website or feeds.

Moreover, no verified A24 announcement confirmed that Holland has been cast as the former U.S. president.

The rumour quickly inspired exactly the kind of internet chaos one might expect, with fans joking about who could play other historical figures.

One suggestion even had Zendaya playing Lee Harvey Oswald, while other fancasts circulated across social media.

While Holland playing JFK might make for an intriguing hypothetical casting discussion, there is currently no verified evidence that he has actually been cast in an A24 Kennedy biopic.
