James Bourne breaks silence on surgery after fans believe it has happened

James Bourne has shared a health update, revealing that his surgery is still in pending amid his ongoing health woes.

The Bustard star, 43, stunned fans last year when he pulled out of the band's tour with McFly just hours before Birmingham performance. 

Later, in April, he said that he was preparing to have major surgery to extend his life' – but insisted that 'there is hope.'

Keeping away from the spotlight over the past year, the musician was spotted for the first time earlier this week as he posed with Hilary Duff's husband Matthew Koma in London.

Now, taking to Twitter James updated fans as he penned: 'I haven’t had any surgery yet. Some people forward me articles saying it’s been done, which isn’t true. I wish it had, I should know more information soon.'

As for style, James cut a casual figure in a Stone Island coat which he paired with a pair of cargo trousers as he wrapped an arm around Matthew.

It comes after James took to X in July to share with his fans that he'll be sharing another update through his Spotify bio.
