Nicola Peltz Beckham latest move made Victoria Beckham 'furious'

Nicola Peltz Beckham may have just added another chapter to the Beckham family drama.

At the 83rd Venice Film Festival last week, the actress was introduced simply as Nicola Beckham, dropping “Peltz” from her name—and according to an insider cited by Heat magazine, the move has reportedly raised eyebrows within Victoria Beckham’s circle.

“Victoria can’t help feeling Nicola’s actions are calculating and vindictive. She’s trying her best to move on with her life, despite the feud, but this seems to be a direct provocation from Nicola,” the insider claimed.

The timing is notable, given Nicola’s ongoing estrangement from husband Brooklyn Beckham’s family. Their feud, reportedly dating back to the couple’s 2022 wedding, intensified earlier this year when Brooklyn issued a lengthy public statement accusing his family of putting “Brand Beckham” ahead of family values.

Now, the Venice appearance has reportedly put the Beckham name itself under the microscope.

“If it’s a one-off, then they can move on, but David and Victoria would be seriously annoyed if Nicola starts to use Beckham regularly. That’s when they’d consider exploring legal options,” the source claimed.

Nicola was in Venice to receive a Rising Star award at the Kinéo Awards and also appeared alongside Faye Dunaway, her Prima co-star.

“I am very happy to be here with this lady, who I can see is going to have a very big career. I think she’s so talented,” Dunaway said of Nicola.

That appearance reportedly caught Victoria’s circle’s attention too, given the designer’s long-standing admiration for Dunaway.

Still, the claims remain just that—claims from an unnamed source. Neither Victoria nor Nicola has publicly confirmed that the name introduction was intended as a dig.

For now, the Beckham family saga has apparently found a new stage: Venice.
