Prince William collaborated with a special individual to announce a mission close to his heart.

In a newly released video by the Palace, the Prince of Wales was seen with Indian filmmaker Karan Johar as they gear up for the Earthshot Prize, set to take place in Mumbai in November this year.

William revealed the Earthshot Prize 15 finalists for 2026, delightful news amid the ongoing drama surrounding Prince Harry's UK return and Charles Spencer's explosive book.

Karan Johar will be hosting the Awards Night, set to take place on November 17.

It has been understood that William, the founder of the Earthshot Prize, is set to attend the two-day summit in India. Princess Kate might also join her husband during the key visit.

The future King and his team aim to tackle global climate issues with his passion project.

Sharing his feelings, William said, "Every year, our Finalists give me renewed optimism.

"They show us that, even as the environmental challenges remain urgent, extraordinary people around the world are already proving that progress is possible. Seeing solutions work gives us all confidence to act.

"When they succeed, they inspire others and accelerate change. I'm proud to welcome these 15 Finalists to the Earthshot Prize community and look forward to celebrating their stories in Mumbai this November."

List of Earthshot 2026 Finalists:

There are five categories, and each winner from every category will receive £1 million. The categories are: Revive our Oceans, Fix our Climate, Build a Waste-Free World, Protect and Restore Nature, and Clean our Air.

The nominees are as follows: Satellites on Fire, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, Yellowstone to Yukon, ZEMBA, Ørsted Indigenous Desert Alliance, Bhutan, the Mahila Housing Trust, Pula, PFAS-Free France, Korea Zero Waste Movement Network, Mother Earth Foundation, Niue Ocean Wide Trust, the city of Barcelona, and AirQo.
