Anne Hathaway shows off baby bump in at 'Verity' press junket

Anne Hathaway continued her eye-catching maternity fashion streak in New York City on Friday, September 18, stepping out for a press junket promoting her upcoming thriller Verity. 

The 43-year-old actress wore a bright red short-sleeve dress featuring exaggerated lettuce trim around the waist and hem, letting her growing baby bump take center stage. 

She paired the look with Aquazzura heeled sandals and black sunglasses, wearing her brunette hair center-parted in soft waves.

The outfit followed another standout New York appearance the day before, when Hathaway wore a black knitted halter dress that hugged her bump, accessorised with multiple rings and a black handbag.

The press tour marks another stop in what's been a packed few months for Hathaway, who has already attended back-to-back movie premieres this summer, including The Odyssey in July and The End of Oak Street in August. 

Verity, out October 2, is based on Colleen Hoover's 2018 novel of the same name and also stars Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett. 

The film follows struggling writer Lowen, played by Johnson, who takes on the opportunity to complete a series by bestselling thriller author Verity Crawford, played by Hathaway, only to uncover an unfinished manuscript that pulls her into a web of unsettling secrets.

Hathaway announced she was expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman on Instagram on June 19, sharing the news in a video set to Barbara Lewis's Baby, I'm Yours.
