Mauricio Umansky is sharing his excitement over becoming a grandfather, following confirmation that his stepdaughter, Farrah Aldjufrie, is expecting her first child with Buying Beverly Hills co-star and fellow real estate agent Zach Goldsmith.
Umansky told Page Six he's "super excited" about the milestone, while Aldjufrie's half-sister, Alexia Umansky, confirmed to the outlet that Aldjufrie and Goldsmith are officially "together" and "happy" as they prepare to welcome a baby boy.
"I adore Zach. I've always loved Zach from the very moment I met him. He makes me laugh, and he's a bright light in every room," Alexia said, adding, "It's going to so amazing to have him be an official part of our family."
Aldjufrie, 37, is Kyle Richards's daughter from her first marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie, making her Umansky's stepdaughter alongside half-sisters Alexia, 30, Sophia, 26, and Portia, 18.
Goldsmith, 51, works alongside Farrah and Umansky at The Agency, Umansky's real estate firm, and has appeared alongside them on Netflix's Buying Beverly Hills.
According to a source, Umansky and Goldsmith have "done business together for years and are good friends," while Goldsmith and Farrah grew closer during filming on the show.
Farrah first announced her pregnancy in July without revealing the father's identity, before confirming Goldsmith at an August 23 gender reveal party attended by Richards, Umansky and her sisters.
Goldsmith shares two sons, Adler, 12, and Miles, 10, with ex-wife Jennifer Hamilton-Goldsmith, who publicly congratulated Farrah on the pregnancy news, commenting on her Instagram post, "Happy for you, @farrahbritt :)" — to which Farrah replied, "Thank you so much, Jen. [That] means a lot."
Richards has spoken about the emotional shock of first learning she'd become a grandmother, recalling to Bravo Insider, "Oh, my god. Just complete shock. Complete shock. I mean, she called me, and she said, 'Are you alone? Who are you with?' And then she just blurted it out. And I was driving, and I just stopped my car... And then I just start freaking out, so excited."
