After six seasons of fashion, romance, career twists and Parisian adventures, Emily in Paris has officially reached the end of its journey.

Netflix announced that filming has wrapped on the sixth and final season of the hit series.

On Friday, September 18, the official X account of the streaming platform shared a poignant behind-the-scenes photo of Lily Collins.

She was captured seated in the show’s iconic director’s chair, except this time, her name had been replaced with a simple word, “Fin.”

“Au revoir. That’s an official wrap on Emily in Paris,” Netflix wrote alongside the image, confirming that the final season will premiere December 24.

The image offered a fittingly cinematic goodbye to the series, which first premiered in 2020 and quickly turned Emily Cooper’s colorful Parisian wardrobe, romantic complications and professional adventures into a global pop-culture phenomenon.

Netflix announced in May that the upcoming sixth season would be the show’s last.

Collins, who has played the optimistic American marketing executive since the beginning, marked the emotional end of filming by sharing three photographs of her own, including intimate behind-the-scenes moments from the set.

Alongside the photos, she shared a deeply emotional message reflecting on her years as Emily.

“My last day on set as Emily… I’m speechless,” she began, admitting that it was impossible to find the words to fully describe what the journey had meant to her.
