Looking for a Batman movie on Netflix? The Caped Crusader may have one of the biggest movie catalogues in superhero history, but finding his films on Netflix can feel almost as complicated as solving one of the Riddler’s puzzles.
For Batman fans, Netflix currently lists three major movies from Christopher Nolan’s acclaimed trilogy: Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises.
Before Christian Bale became Gotham’s legendary Dark Knight, Batman Begins showed how Bruce Wayne transformed from a grieving billionaire into Batman.
Directed by Christopher Nolan, the film follows Bruce as he returns to Gotham and takes on the city’s criminal underworld, while Liam Neeson and Cillian Murphy bring some serious trouble of their own.
It is darker and more grounded than many earlier Batman movies and lays the foundation for everything that follows.
Then comes the movie that changed the superhero genre.
The Dark Knight puts Batman against Heath Ledger’s unforgettable Joker, while Gotham descends into chaos. Christian Bale returns as Batman alongside Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Aaron Eckhart.
With its crime-thriller atmosphere, intense action and psychological battle between Batman and the Joker, it remains one of the most talked-about superhero films ever made.
Netflix currently lists it among its action and critically acclaimed titles.
Nolan’s trilogy concludes with Bruce Wayne facing perhaps his most physically imposing enemy: Bane, played by Tom Hardy.
After years in seclusion, Batman is forced back into action when Bane threatens Gotham. Anne Hathaway also joins the story as Selina Kyle, adding another unpredictable player to the final chapter.
