Zayn Malik, Gigi Hadid's daughter turns 6: Inside the sweet celebrations

Gigi Hadid is celebrating a very special milestone for her daughter, Khai Malik.

The supermodel offered fans a sweet glimpse into Khai’s 6th birthday celebrations.

Taking to her Instagram stories on Saturday, September 19, the doting mother posted a photo of the birthday breakfast she prepared for her little girl.

The simple but adorable plate featured two strips of crispy bacon alongside a cupcake covered with colourful sprinkles and complete with a pink curly candle.

“My girl [shining heart emoji] my life!!!!” the proud mother, who shares her only child with her ex boyfriend former One Direction star Zayn Malik, placed this sweet message on the upper side of the photo.

She added the other note in the bottom right of the frame, writing, “Traditional [cake slice emoji] for bday breakfast.”

Rather than a lavish glimpse at a celebrity birthday party, Hadid’s post showed a more intimate family moment, featuring a homemade-looking birthday breakfast.

It is pertinent to note that the former couple have generally kept their daughter’s life away from the spotlight.

Hadid has occasionally shared small glimpses of their family moments while continuing to protect Khai’s privacy as well as the Dusk Till Dawn hitmaker.
