Charles Spencer dropped another bombshell on the royal family after Buckingham Palace issued a statement about his Diana book.
The book, Swan Song: Diana, My Sister, has been seen as a new setback for the royals and King Charles, as it has many shocking revelations from the past.
In the preview of the upcoming book, Spencer recalled the reaction of Charles hearing tragic news of Princess Diana's passing.
From claiming Charles sounded like he won a lottery to "We'll forget her soon enough," the memoir created headlines even before its release.
A spokesperson for the Palace earlier responded, While we do not comment on books as a matter of principle, His Majesty is mindful that the pain of fraternal grief can cloud reason, affect judgment and colour memory in ways others do not recognise, even many years after such a loss."
Charles Spencer replied to the statement by claiming that he has been 'gaslit' by the king.
Calling the royal family's reaction "astonishingly provocative and below the belt." As per The Mail, he added, "It is not every day you wake up to find you've been gaslit by the King."
