Nicki Minaj says she's 'not going to ever' apologise for supporting Trump

Nicki Minaj is doubling down on her support for Donald Trump.

Appearing on FOX News Channel’s The Ingraham Angle on Friday, September 18, the 43-year-old rapper explained why she remains supportive of Trump and his administration.

“I am honoured to be able to have an opportunity to work with this administration and to work with President Trump. He has inspired many people, not just me. And he's – he's fun,” Minaj said.

The Grammy-winner went on to describe the US President as “smart,” “grounded,” and someone she can “relate to.”

“It's easy to connect with him. It's easy to feel like he heard you, he understands you. And I just – I just love him. And I'm not going to ever make excuses for that,” she added, emphasising that she has nothing to apologise for.

When Laura Ingraham asked what she would say to critics of her decision to work with the sitting president, Minaj simply replied: “Absolutely nothing.”

“I don't know why I should,” she added.
