Prince William quietly takes charge of monarchy plans amid King-Spencer row

Prince William may just have found his window of opportunity to execute a long-held rumoured plan as the royal family suffers another episode of controversy.

Following the Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor ordeal and the Sussex drama, Harry and William’s uncle Charles Spencer have reignited the row with King Charles with his forthcoming memoir on Diana.

Amid the chaos, a royal expert believes that the future King is not distracted by the noise and fully remains steadfast on carrying out major plans.

According to Richard Fitzwilliams, there are six royals in line to lose their royal titles.

“As long as the rift with William persists, they reportedly haven't spoken for years, there remains the possibility that when he becomes King, he will reduce the size of the Royal Family,” he told The Express.

“They and their children and Beatrice and Eugenie could lose their titles.

The full list would be as follows: Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince Archie, Princess Lilibet, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

“This would reduce their appeal, though not, at least for a considerable time, their public profile.”

This comes amid the fresh row of the Charles-es: King Charles vs Earl Charles Spencer.

In latest revelation by the Earl, the then-prince had claimed that “we’ll forget her soon enough” after Diana’s death. In response, the monarch issued an unprecedented statement, rewording the message ‘recollections may vary’ by stating that “fraternal grief can cloud reason, affect judgment and colour memory in ways others do not recognise”.
