Channing Tatum finally reacts to burner account theory

Channing Tatum is publicly shooting down speculation that he's been running a secret burner Instagram account to comment on ex-fiancée Zoë Kravitz's relationship with Harry Styles. 

After the theory surrounding the account, dubbed "Nonya Bidness," went viral over the weekend, fueled by the fact that Tatum was reportedly its only follower, the actor addressed it directly on his Instagram Story Monday, September 21. 

"Yo I truly can't believe y'all think this is what I'm doing with my free time," Tatum wrote. 

"F***in hilarious. Also why would I follow a burner account if I didn't want people to connect me to it? Wtf come on." 

He added plainly, "But if I really need to say it, I only have one IG account @channingtatum."

The theory had gained traction after screenshots circulated showing comments attributed to the account discussing Kravitz and Styles, including one that read, "Just here for the hate," alongside laughing and popcorn emojis, posted beneath a photo of the couple. 

Other comments attributed to the account appeared to reference Tatum's ex-wife, Jenna Dewan, and characterised Kravitz as "the most intentional person" her former fiancé knew, language some speculated echoed how Tatum himself had once described her creative instincts.

Since then, additional details have emerged complicating the theory. 

The account itself denied being run by Tatum, reportedly telling skeptics to "go read a book" before going offline entirely, according to HuffPost UK. 

Separately, one Reddit user pointed to archived data suggesting the account may have originally started as a Channing Tatum fan page, offering an alternative explanation for why Tatum might have followed it in the first place. 

Others noted the account had also left comments on unrelated Gemini horoscope posts, an odd detail for a profile supposedly dedicated to trolling Tatum's ex, given that Tatum himself is a Taurus. 

None of these findings conclusively confirm who operates the account, and Tatum's ex-wife Jenna Dewan has also weighed in on the speculation, though details of her comments remain unclear.

Tatum has been candid in the past about closely following Kravitz's online presence during their relationship. 

Speaking to Vanity Fair in January, he admitted to following fan accounts dedicated to her while they were dating, saying, "I have no chill. I was just seeing what she was up to! Also, I didn't know anyone would know."
