Prince Harry makes Archie, Lilibet part of key UK engagement: Watch

Prince Harry offered rare insight into a key conversation with his young family members, Archie and Lilibet, about a project close to his heart.

The Duke of Sussex stepped out to attend the WellChild Awards in London on Monday, September 21, amid the growing tensions between his father, King Charles and uncle Earl Spencer.

Being a patron of a children-based charity, Harry met many inspirational young people and individuals at the Royal Lancaster Hotel.

Dressed in a navy suit and patterned tie, the former working royal shared heartwarming moments with the kids and also praised their strength in a keynote speech. Speaking about the event, Harry said that it "celebrates the inspirational achievements of seriously ill children and those who care for them."

One notable moment that captured fans' attention was when Harry included Archie and Lilibet in the meaningful event. He spoke about how he is instilling "empathy and compassion" in the little Sussexes, values he has demonstrated over the years.

In conversation with Hello! Magazine, Prince Harry shared, "Yeah, so at breakfast this morning, they had a bit of Monday blues. It was always Sunday night blues when you have been sent away to boarding school, like I was.

"But for them, at breakfast this morning, I decided, you know what? Just being a little bit tricky, so I am going to tell you exactly what I am doing tonight.

"And they were genuinely fascinated and interested and had all sorts of questions. So it looks like, with all of my work and their mum’s work as well, whatever we can do to try to instil some of that awareness, I think it’s absolutely crucial."
