Kyle Sandilands mocks KIIS FM's new morning show

Kyle Sandilands shared his honest thoughts about the new people taking over the KIIS FM breakfast show.

KIIS FM recently announced that Dr Chris Brown, Amy Gerard and Jack Charles will host the new morning show.

The new team will take over after The Kyle and Jackie O Show was removed from the station in March.

Their first show is set to air on November 9.

Kyle clearly has some doubts about the new program so while speaking on his own show, he called Chris “vanilla” and said the new team could make for boring radio.

“That, to me, equals boring as bats**t radio,” he said.

He also looked at the new style of the show and was not happy with the colour used for its logo.

“Ugh, is that their new logo? That's an ugly, woke colour. It's the wokest purple,” he said.

Kyle also criticised ARN, saying the company once had the biggest radio brand but now could be seen as one of the worst.

Even after taking several shots at the new show, Kyle wished the hosts well.

“Good luck to them, I hope they do their very best, because it's not an easy gig,” he said.

Chris said the new job was a dream come true, while Amy said she was “pinching myself” over getting the chance.

The new team will also have former Kyle and Jackie O producer Natalie Penfold working with them.
