Dolly Parton's secret treatment trip revealed after shock death

Dolly Parton reportedly travelled to Germany for a private treatment during her cancer battle, about a year before her death.

The country music legend died at the age of 80 on August 25.

Before her death, she was dealing with health problems and also missed some public events as well.

Dolly’s cancer battle was kept private as the type of cancer she had was never shared with the public.

According to a new TMZ report, Dolly flew to Frankfurt in a private jet for a treatment that not been named.

She, however, reportedly stayed there for about a week before going back to Tennessee.

People close to the singer told TMZ that Dolly felt the treatment actually helped her get some of her strength back.

She also believed that it did work for her.

Dolly was then taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville just four days before her death.

Her nephew Bryan Seaver later shared the sad news in an Instagram video.

He said Dolly asked him years ago to make the announcement when the time came.

Dolly was later laid to rest at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville, where her husband Carl Dean was also buried.

The singer had a career lasting more than 60 years and was known for songs such as Jolene, 9 to 5 and I Will Always Love You.
