Presley Gerber's former love interest Lexi Wood honours late ‘brave' ex

Presley Gerber’s former love interest Lexi Wood remembered her late ex as a ‘brave’ person in an emotional tribute.

Two few days after Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber’s only son died on Sunday, September 20, one of his exes took to her Instagram on Tuesday, September 22, reflecting on the memories the two shared.

Alongside a series of photos and videos from her 2022 relationship with the late model, the 28-year-old penned a heartfelt message.

“It’s hard to put into words what it means to lose someone who was such a meaningful part of my life for so many years,” she began. “Through every chapter and every version of our relationship, friendship was always at the core of it”.

The influencer continued, “Everyone who loved Presley and was loved by him knows he was one of the kindest, most open, loving and courageous people.

“He loved so deeply, so purely, was incredibly romantic and thoughtful,” she continued. “He was also incredibly resilient. He fought so hard for his life and he was brave enough to be open about that fight. More than anything, he wanted to use his story to help other people, and he did.”

Alongside their photos together and a clip of the pair soaking up the rain as they walked down a street at night, Lexi also shared a photo of a handwritten note from Presley that read, “I’m so proud of you. You’re amazing, Lexi. I love you, Pres.”

“I feel so lucky to have shared so many years of friendship, so many memories and so much love with him,” she added before concluding, “He will always hold such a special place in my heart, and we will all miss him forever. [white heart emoji].”

For the unversed, Presley and Lexi dated for about one month in late 2022. They went Instagram official on November 1, after attending a Halloween event together that year.

In mid-December reports confirmed they split up after realizing the relationship wasn't meant to be long-term, returning to their prior long-standing friendship.
