Travis Kelce reacts to Taylor Swift's viral cheer moment

Taylor Swift had one message for the world after Travis Kelce scored — and her husband loved every second of it.

After Kelce, 36, found the end zone during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Sept. 20 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts, Swift was caught celebrating from a private box at Arrowhead Stadium.

But then came the moment fans couldn’t stop talking about.

Swift pointed at her wedding ring and proudly declared, “That’s my husband!”

Now, Kelce has revealed exactly what was going through his mind.

During Wednesday’s, September 23, episode of the New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce, the NFL star reacted to his wife’s viral celebration.

“Just doing my deed as a husband,” Travis, who married Swift on July 3, said. “Listen man, proud wife, baby. Gotta make my girl proud,” he added.

Naturally, the brothers couldn’t resist checking out the memes inspired by Swift’s declaration.

“Internet’s having a good ole time with this s—,” Travis said, laughing.

“These are awesome,” Jason agreed.

Among the memes they read were jokes about wives proudly watching their husbands drink beer, ask questions on historical tours and even figure out which alarm had a low battery.

And Travis had another reason to celebrate that night.

The Chiefs beat the Colts, while Kelce also broke Marshall Faulk’s NFL record for most career receiving yards after the catch, reaching 6,288 yards.

“This is by far the craziest thing and honestly one of the coolest accomplishments I’ve ever had,” Travis told Jason.

He credited his teammates before adding, “When I’ve got the ball in my hands, I’m doing the most I can with it.”

Jason had the final word: “I think it’s the greatest record you have!”
