Piers Morgan urged to show no mercy to Charles Spencer

Princess Diana's superfan ripped Earl Spencer apart over his shock claims in new bombshell book, urging Piers to pull no punchess and school him.

John Loughrey, known as William and Harry's mother Princess Diana's superfan, claimed that he is ‘very disappointed’ by the memoir.

The publication of Earl Charles Spencer’s latest memoir, "Swan Song: Diana, My Sister", has sparked fierce debate among royal observers and royal fans.

In conversation with GB News at Sotheby's, where Diana's iconic 'Revenge Dress' was on display royal fan John Loughrey expressed outrage over the allegations made against the monarch.

Mr Loughrey, who famously got the chance to speak to the Princess of Wales and Prince George at Sandringham last year, condemned the publication: “I am very disappointed in Lord Spencer, Charles Spencer, to have these allegations about King Charles. It’s disgraceful."

“I won’t be buying this book. It's a disgrace, and I hope Piers Morgan does take him to court, and he wins his case, and that he gives money to one of Diana’s charities. He should be ashamed of himself.”

The reference to broadcaster Mr Morgan stems from an error in the initial printing of the book, where Lord Spencer suggested the journalist was responsible for publishing intrusive gym photographs of Princess Diana in the 1990s.

Lord Spencer promptly issued an official statement apologising for the incorrect assumption.

The Diana super fan concluded: “He shouldn't be writing a book about Diana. That's for other authors to do; he should be thinking about his sister and not thinking about money. That book's all about him. So I'm there for the King and Queen.”

Lord Spencer has defended his decision to publish Swan Song, which he claims comes from his perspective as an “eyewitness to history.”
