Phoebe Bridgers surprises audience with Boygenius performance amid hiatus

Boygenius came together once again amid their ongoing hiatus to perform together at Phoebe Bridgers' recent concert in Brooklyn.

The 32-year-old indie-folk musician's bandmembers Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker attended her solo tour, The Lost Tour, and Bridgers invited them on stage to give a surprise performance. 

They performed some of fans' favourite songs from the band - namely, Not Strong Enough and Cool About It.

Since the Scott Street hitmaker has maintained a strict no-phone policy on her tour, there were no video clips of the performance which left fans who were unable to attend, devastated.

Flocking to social media, one fan wrote, "cool about it i will THROW up," and "So i’m not there and i’m not cool about it…," added another.

A third chimed in, "I’m telling you it was the most beautiful thing ever," and "the mothers came together to save music again," cheered one.

While many echoed, "I SHOULD’VE BEEN THERE."
