Adam Brody calls for 'Free Palestine' as Hollywood protests continue

Adam Brody is using his platform to speak out on the Israel-Gaza conflict as Netflix prepares to release another season of his hit series Nobody Wants This. 

Speaking publicly, the actor left little ambiguity about his position. 

"Put me down as thinking it's a genocide. Put me down as wanting a free Palestine," Brody said. 

"It's awful that it's taken so much death and misery, but it does feel like it's reaching a breaking point that it should have a while ago. I'm hopeful that another administration can really do some good and correct some of these policies that are helping that situation be as awful as it is."

Brody's comments arrive shortly after several of his Hollywood peers were among roughly 100 people arrested outside the United Nations General Assembly in New York City, where demonstrators had gathered to protest the arrival of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. 

In Nobody Wants This, Brody stars alongside Kristen Bell as Rabbi Noah Roklov, whose relationship with agnostic podcaster Joanne Williams navigates questions of faith, family and identity as she considers converting to Judaism for their relationship.
