Prince Harry makes new alliance for important mission amid royal tensions

Prince Harry seemingly has a plan in place as the family drama once again becomes a hot topic for the public, while the possibility of reconciliation remains up for speculation.

The Palace is understood to be grappling with the aftermath of Charles Spencer’s revelations in his new book dedicated to the late Princess Diana.

Senior working royals are actively indulging in their duties to bring the attention back to their work, but it hasn’t been enough to distract from the ongoing saga. Moreover, Spencer’s book has also left Prince William and Prince Harry in an uncomfortable situation, as they both find a way to detangle themselves from this fiasco.

With Harry’s Invictus Games coming up, he is looking for friends, who can help along with the mission, even if a special appearance from King Charles in not on the cards. Sources have told Rob Shuter that James Corden “has Harry’s ear”.

“They’re texting and calling all the time. Harry’s old friends haven’t exactly welcomed him back with open arms, but James keeps showing up — and Harry responds to that,” the insider said.

“James can rub people the wrong way,” they continued. “He can be loud, demanding and incredibly self-important. People who’ve dealt with him have described him as a bully. But with Harry, he knows exactly how to make him feel important.”

James, who previously hosted the popular Late Late Show, recently hosted Harry’s Invictus Spirit Awards. The insider pointed out that Harry’s “old gang” hasn’t come running back so he is keeping James close.

“Harry loves people who champion him, and James understands that,” the insider explained. “He flatters him, makes him laugh and makes him feel like the most important person in the room.”
