Olivia Rodrigo opens Unraveled Tour with Four-Season magic

Olivia Rodrigo has officially entered her next era and she's doing it one season at a time.

The pop star kicked off her 86-date Unraveled Tour on September 25 at PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford, Connecticut.

Interestingly, she transformed the stage into a constantly changing landscape inspired by the four seasons.

Supporting her third album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, Rodrigo opened the show with a burst of springtime energy before taking fans through summer, autumn and winter-inspired chapters.

The 23-year-old then moved into the Summer portion of the concert, performing songs such as my way, serena joy, bad idea right? and ballad of a homeschooled girl.

As the imaginary calendar turned to Autumn, the mood became darker and more emotional. 

The performer of the night sang stupid song, maggots for brains, traitor, begged and cigarette smoke, creating a striking contrast with the colourful opening section.

Then came Winter, bringing some of the night's most intimate moments. Rodrigo performed honeybee, favorite crime, drivers license, less and the cure.

Just when it seemed the seasons had come full circle, Rodrigo returned for an encore, bringing back Spring with deja vu, all american bitch and expectations, before closing with please.

The Unraveled Tour is scheduled to travel across North America and Europe through 2027, giving Rodrigo plenty of opportunities to take her four-season spectacle to audiences around the world.
