Niall Horan gives hilarious reaction after signature One Direction move

Niall Horan may have regretted bringing back his iconic One Direction move after a painful moment.

During his Dinner Party: Live on Tour show at Co-op Live in Manchester on Friday, September 25, the Slow Hands hitmaker felt the ache after he delighted fans with his signature jump from his boy band era.

Before diving into the Steal My Girl, a song from his One Direction days, rendition, the X Factor alum appeared to launch into the familiar but this time, the jump came with a tiny plot twist.

“Ow!”

A 24-second clip shared by fan account @nhtuned captures the night’s star smiling and performing energetically before reacting with the audible exclamation after the move.

The moment immediately turned a nostalgic concert move into an internet-worthy comedy bit.

The fan caption joked that the Irish musician might not be attempting the move again anytime soon, while praising the singer as “SO funny.”

And longtime One Direction fans certainly know the jump.

Notably, the Manchester performance was the third UK date of Horan's Dinner Party: Live on Tour run, following shows in Birmingham on September 22 and Newcastle on September 23.

Whether the “ow” was simply the result of an awkward landing or something more is unclear, and there's no indication from the clip alone that Horan suffered an injury.
