Meghan Markle faces ban after row with TV icon

Meghan Markle, who recently arrived in the Cotswolds with Prince Harry and their two children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, has seemingly reignighted rift with a TV presenter, this time not Piers Morgan.

The Duchess of Sussex reportedly chose a different venue for a meeting with her friend Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi instead of Jeremy Clarkson's The Farmer's Dog.

Meghan's move is being seen as a deliberate choice, given Clarkson's previous comments about the Duchess in a column, where he referenced a scene from Game of Thrones.

Insiders, close to the TV presenter, claim Clarkson could reportedly add Meghan's name to a list of banned celebrities at his pub, which reportedly includes former prime minister Sir Keir Starmer, Clarkson's ex co-stars James May and Richard Hammond and a customer called Maddy Hornby, who complained about the lack of Tabasco.

Some suggest that Meghan chose not to visit The Farmer's Dog as a statement, given her previous history with the former Top Gear presenter.

The Duchess's return to the UK has been marked by controversy, as she and Prince Harry have insisted on taxpayer-funded security and pulled their children out of prep school just days into the new term due to a hectic commute.
