Gisele Bündchen's alleged letter to Tom Brady revealed

Gisele Bündchen reportedly put her marriage concerns in writing years before her split from Tom Brady, asking the NFL star to give more time and attention to their family.

In an excerpt from Brady: An American Story and the Price of Greatness, shared by the Daily Mail, author Lars Anderson says Bündchen handed Brady a “serious” handwritten note after the New England Patriots lost the 2018 Super Bowl to the Philadelphia Eagles.

“She explained that their marriage wasn’t working,” Anderson writes. “She needed more of him, more of his time, more of his attention, more of his heart.”

According to the book, Bündchen wanted Brady “to be present when he was at home,” rather than “responding to text messages on his constantly buzzing cell phone or replaying a game in his mind.”

“She needed more help with the kids. She needed the chance to sleep in just a few days a week. She needed more time for her own career.”

A former teammate reportedly told Anderson that Bündchen “was a bigger international star” and had grown tired of living on Brady’s schedule. 

The book claims the couple tried counseling, but Brady later kept the letter in a drawer and reread it on “contemplative nights.”

Anderson also claims Bündchen eventually told Brady they were “not compatible” in their astrology charts. Representatives for both have not commented on the book, due out Sept. 29.

The couple divorced in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage. 

They share two children, Benjamin and Vivian. Bündchen married jujitsu instructor Joaquim Valente in December 2025, and the couple have a young son.
