‘Traitors' icon Claudia Winkleman makes major career move

Claudia Winkleman is showing a very different side of herself away from The Traitors.

The 54-year-old presenter is getting ready to read a story for CBeebies Bedtime Story as she will read Monkeypig by Huw Aaron on Thursday evening.

The story is about Molly, a pig who lives with a group of monkeys. She has one big secret which is that she is not actually a monkey.

One of the monkeys, Norman, starts to think that someone does not belong in the group.

He then gives everyone a series of tests to find out who the mystery animal is.

Claudia’s appearance also comes as she talks about being a mother to her three children, Jake, Matilda and Arthur.

She said, “When it comes to my kids, I've loved all the chapters.”

She also joked about how her children feel about her style.

“I am a deep embarrassment to my children because I'm too orange, my lipstick is too white and I wear too much black,” she said.

Claudia added, “So if you find your parents embarrassing that's good, it means they're smashing it.”

But her time away from The Traitors will not last long.

Claudia is also returning to host Celebrity Traitors, which starts on October 1.

The new series will see famous faces including Bella Ramsey, James Acaster and Maya Jama take part.
