Sarah Ferguson's close friend reveals truth behind cancelled tell-all

Sarah Ferguson has been long-rumoured to write a tell-all memoir and some reports claimed that she may have been just “days away” from signing a deal.

Although, those claims were shut down by her representative noting that Fergie has “no plans to write any tell-all memoir”. However, a close friend of the former Duchess of York claims that behind the scenes, the story is quite different.

During an interview, Lizzie Cundy confirmed to Storm Huntley that Sarah does indeed “want to tell her side”.

“There are a lot of areas Sarah wants to talk about, from Diana’s death, Meghan and Harry, and I have to say – I think people will want to read it and hear it.”

Lizzie was also asked what would Fergie do if her efforts to share her side of the story backfires, especially after it did for her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

“I think she's learnt a lot of lessons from what happened to Andrew,” Lizzie said. “She feels she is queen of the comebacks.”

Moreover, Fergie is very different from Andrew and there was a reason the late Queen Elizabeth II liked her.

Previous reports have also claimed that Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are worried about what their mother would do to revive her career.

“She was very different, a breath of fresh air when she came into the royal family. But look, she's got to tell the truth. And I’ve always said, as I’ve said on your show many times, she needs to put the victims first. And let's see what happens.”
