David Beckham shows support for Victoria after Katherine Ryan's apology

Victoria Beckham has heaped praise on her supportive husband, David Beckham, after he surprised her with a bouquet of flowers following Katherine Ryan's apology for making a 'stupid joke.' 

The legendary footballer, 51, publicly showed his support for his wife, the former Spice Girl, 52, who responded by leaving a sweet comment on David's post on Friday.

His thoughtful gesture comes after the the BBC upheld complaints about the comedian linking an obscene term to Victoria on Have I Got News For You.

Viewers lodged complaints after Katherine seemingly referred to the Spice Girls star using the C-word.

An internal investigation into the episode of the satirical show, which aired in November 2025, followed complaints from two viewers who described the remark as 'gratuitously offensive.'

The news comes after Victoria Beckham shared her excitement about holidaying with her close-knit family in Portofino, Italy, where she and David previously stayed at the same hotel during their early romance.

It also comes amid reports that her estranged son, Brooklyn Beckham, has been seeking business advice from his billionaire father-in-law, Nelson Peltz.

Brooklyn remains at the centre of a family feud after reportedly cutting off contact with his family in search of 'peace.'

He has claimed that his family tried to drive a wedge between him and his actress wife, Nicola, 31, whom he married in 2022.
