Olivia Dean celebrates one year of ‘The Art of Loving'

Olivia Dean is celebrating a very special milestone for an album that “changed her life.”

On Saturday, September 26, the Grammy winner marked the first anniversary of her second studio album, titled The Art of Loving, on Instagram.

The English singer-songwriter penned a sweet message alongside a series of behind-the-scenes memories from the record’s creation.

“Happy birthday to the album that changed my life!” she wrote in the caption, adding a red balloon emoji. “The Art of Loving is one today.”

The first image showed her leaning over a large piano, resting her chin on her hand as she posed with the instrument.

Another photo featured a yellow diary with The Art of Loving written across its cover, resting over the keys of a music mixer.

Offering a glimpse into the creative process behind the record, the series of photos also included intimate snapshots from Dean’s recording sessions.

And while the Reason To Stay hitmaker was looking back on a milestone close to her heart, her fans were celebrating right alongside her.

“The way this album has changed me forever I will forever be grateful,” one fan wrote.

“Changed my life too!” another commented.

“And changed our lives,” a third fan added with a white heart emoji.

Another heartfelt message read from an admirer read, “A year of healing and loving. Thank you for gifting us this piece of your heart.”

Considering the fans’ comments, The Art of Loving has become more than just a collection of songs. It has become a soundtrack to a year of personal memories, healing and, as the title suggests, loving.
