WATCH: Driver's reckless act leaves motorcyclist on car bonnet in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: A motorcyclist was seen clinging to the bonnet of a moving car after his motorcycle was dragged along the road during a reckless driving incident in Rawalpindi.

The motorcyclist remained on the front of the vehicle as the car continued moving, while his motorcycle appeared to be trapped near the car's front wheel and was dragged along the road.

Sparks were seen coming from the motorcycle as it struck the road surface, while the rider held on to the car's bonnet and front windscreen.

Following the incident, City Traffic Officer (CTO) Rawalpindi Farhan Aslam directed the circle in-charge of Murree Road to register a case against those involved.

The CTO said all technical means were being used to identify and trace the vehicle and its driver.

"Strict action will be taken against those who put the lives of others at risk," Aslam said.

The circumstances leading to the incident remained unclear, while authorities continued investigating the matter.

Questions were also raised over the monitoring of Safe City cameras installed in the area, including whether the incident was captured by the surveillance system.
