Princess Anne makes first appearance after family tragedy

Princess Anne is resuming her royal duties as other senior royal members continue their assigned task from the Buckingham Palace.

The Princess Royal’s family recently had to recover from some tragic news and offer support to her daughter Zara Tindall. Mike Tindall revealed that his father, Phil, who had been suffering from Parkinson’s since nearly two decades, had passed away.

It is understood that even though Mike was prepared to face the heartbreak given his father’s prolonged health condition, but he was upset that his wife and children couldn’t see his father in his prime.

Mike shares a friendly relation with his mother-in-law, hence, it is believed that the King’s sister would have offered her kindness to the grieving son.

On Monday, Anne stepped out for the first time since the announcement of the news. As Royal Patron of the Motor Neurone Disease Association, she met with English rugby union coach Sir Kevin Sinfield on his 7 in 7 Challenge at the University of York Athletics track.

Moreover, there is another engagement scheduled for the royal, as the Honorary President of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.

She will attend the WISE Annual Conference and Awards in London, and, as President of the Carers Trust, will visit Carers Plus Yorkshire to mark its 30th Anniversary.
