Carrot Top case takes serious turn after reported suicide attempt

The legal battle surrounding an alleged Carrot Top s*x tape is drawing fresh attention, with a report claiming there could be more than one recording.

But the central issue is not what may have happened in the footage — it’s the allegation that it was used to pressure the comedian for money.

Court filings reportedly describe a video involving Carrot Top, whose real name is Scott Thompson, and another adult man.

A source familiar with the alleged footage told Rob Shutter it includes explicit sexual activity and suggested another recording may exist. The outlet says it has not viewed the footage or independently verified whether additional recordings exist.

“This isn’t some quick naked clip,” the source said. “It is a homemade sex tape between two adults. There is dirty talk, s*x toys and explicit se*ual activity — and this may not be the only recording.”

Thompson’s attorney has accused Brian Evans of trying to extort $500,000 with the alleged footage. Evans denies the allegation.

An insider told the outlet that the comedian’s private life should not be the focus, saying: “Scott is an adult having consensual s*x with another adult. Nobody should care what he does privately. The disturbing allegation is that an intimate recording was then used to demand money from him.”

The case has also drawn concern following Thompson’s reported suicide attempt. “Scott nearly died,” the source said. “Suddenly, a s*x tape doesn’t seem important. The people who love Scott aren’t worried about what is on some private recording. They want him alive, safe and getting the support he needs.”

The extortion claims remain allegations, and Evans denies wrongdoing.
