Prince Harry bruises William's 'ego' resulting in Palace blunder

Prince Harry has 'hurt' his estranged brother's 'ego ', which has reportedly forced the Palace to issue a stern statement, which royal experts believe was uncalled for.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a historic decision and returned to the UK with their kids, Archie and Lilibet, for an extended period.

Buckingham Palace, soon after the Sussexes' UK relocation, released a statement, calling them private citizens and reaffirming their non-working royal status.

People Magazine reported that "The royal family still don’t know what their [Harry and Meghan] motives are."

Discussing the whole situation, royal commentator Ian Pelham Turner said that it was not an appropriate move by the Palace to issue a statement. 

He believes it was the outcome of William's ego getting hurt by Harry's bold step.

The expert told Fox News, "In my mind, the act of clarification was not necessary, creating humiliation for the couple and a cowardly act by those behind the letter.

"William may see the return as a distraction from his popularity and, as it seems, Harry has received some favourable accolades from people he is meeting at events -- this could be an annoyance to William’s ego."
