Kate Middleton and Prince William quietly carry out royal business at Windsor

Kate Middleton has quietly turned her attention to the work at her and Prince William’s Royal Foundation, with a new meeting at Windsor Castle potentially offering a clue to what lies ahead.

The Princess of Wales met with Sarah Henwood, the chief executive of the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, on Monday, 28 September, according to the Court Circular.

It was a low-key engagement with no photographs released, but the meeting is notable given Henwood’s relatively recent arrival in the role.

She became the foundation’s chief executive in February, taking over from Amanda Berry, who had led the organisation since 2022.

Henwood joined the foundation at an important point for William and Kate as they continue to shape the causes and initiatives associated with their work. 

When her appointment was announced, she said she was looking forward to working on the couple’s “remarkable initiatives”.

Prince William carries out private royal business

Kate was not the only senior royal to have a quiet Windsor engagement on Monday.

Prince William, who serves as Duke of Cornwall, presided over a meeting of The Prince’s Council at Windsor Castle, according to a separate Court Circular entry.
