Omid Scobie reveals Harry's heartfelt wish for William, Kate

Prince Harry's heartwarming thoughts  about his elder brother, Prince William, has been laid bare amid their uncle Charles Spencer's latest blow to the royal family.

Despite having several reservations and complaints about the royals' behaviour and treatment of him and Meghan Markle, the Duke of Sussex still wishes to mend burnt bridges with his estranged brother.

Harry wnats his brother to show solidiraty with him for a collective tribute to their late mother to keep her legacy alive.

But it may not be for the 30th anniversary of Princess Diana's death, a royal author has claimed.

Omar Scobie said the Duke has "made it no secret that his wish for things moving forward, not just with his father, but with his brother as well, is to reconcile."

However, Scobie - long regarded as one of the Sussexes' most prominent media allies - does not see the royal brothers' reunion at the  30th annversay of Princess Diana's next year.

The royal authr, speaking to ABC News Studios for the documentary "Harry & Meghan: The Return of the Prince," revealed the Duke has "made it no secret that his wish for things moving forward, not just with his father, but with his brother as well, is to reconcile."

Howeverm he remains pessimist saying: "I can't see it making any difference, but one can always hope.”

The Prince of Wales is said to have already turned down multiple proposals to participate in or produce documentary tributes to his late mother.

His reasoning is understood to centre on a desire to steer clear of any additional friction with his younger brother, who is believed to have had "talks" regarding the possibility of a film.

Despite this, Scobie suggested the King has undergone a genuine shift in attitude toward the Sussexes.

"I think we've seen with Charles things have moved forward and that iciness has thawed out. There's a warmth there," he said, before adding: "With William, I don't see it will ever change."
