Tom Cruise can't stop praising Princess Kate during revealing royal chat

Princess Kate received a glowing compliment from one of Hollywood’s biggest stars after Tom Cruise reunited with the Prince and Princess of Wales at the London premiere of his latest film, Digger.

Kate and Prince William joined Cruise for the star-studded premiere, where the actor later opened up about seeing the couple again in the British capital.

Speaking to Extra, Cruise was asked what he and William and Kate had talked about during their reunion. 

Rather than revealing any private details, the actor made it clear that some conversations were simply best kept between friends.

“We have private conversations, we talk about things that are between us,” he said.

Cruise then had plenty to say about the couple themselves, praising their dedication and describing them as “amazing people”.

“I have so much respect for them,” he said, adding that he admired “how dedicated they are to their country and also what they give to the world.”

The actor also described William and Kate as “beautiful people” who are “fun, very funny”.

But when the conversation turned to the Princess of Wales, Cruise became enthusiastic about her sense of humour and intelligence.

“Kate, she's got an incredible sense of humour, intelligent and fun, very fun,” he said.

“And her dress,” Cruise added, before praising the look once again.
