Ella Bright's Taylor Swift obsession comes full circle after viral VMAs

Ella Bright is cherishing fan moments with Taylor Swift after an unforgettable encounter with the pop star at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards.

On Monday, September 28, one day after the VMAs, the Off Campus star shared a carousel of photos and videos from the star-studded night, including several moments involving the Patient Zero singer that made the evening memorable for the longtime fan.

“Long story short I guess I really love music,” the Off Campus star wrote in the caption, adding a playful “help ” before thanking the VMAs.

She also credited her glam team, including stylist Molly Dickson, hairstylist Adir Abergel, makeup artist Loren Canby and manicurist Zrinka.

Among the first images in the carousel, set to Long Story Short, were snapshots from Ella’s VMAs appearance, including blue-carpet look and her onstage appearance alongside her Off Campus co-star Belmont Cameli.

Among others, some slide captured her Taylor’s obsession lore.

Ella shared a fan post featuring two photographs of her embracing the Blank Space chart-topper at the ceremony.

The fan captioned the post, “somebody please check on Ella Bright,” capturing the excitement surrounding the unexpected interaction.

She then took things even further back in time by sharing a childhood photograph of herself attending Taylor’s 1989 tour.

For the unversed, Ella has been a self-proclaimed die hard Swiftie . She even used the singer's 1989 album as inspiration while preparing to play aspiring songwriter Hannah Wells in Off Campus.
