CAIRO: A bomb targeting a Cairo court exploded Tuesday just before polling stations were to open for a constitutional referendum boycotted by supporters of ousted president Mohamed Morsi, an interior ministry official said.
The bombing, which caused no casualties, is the latest in a spate of such attacks since the military overthrew Morsi in July.
The military-installed interim government bills the referendum on Tuesday and Wednesday as the first of several polls it says will restore elected rule by the end of the year.
