Prince William meets farmer taking Duchy of Cornwall into new regenerative era

Prince William appeared genuinely engaged as he met the young farmer taking on a significant new role within the Duchy of Cornwall’s rural estate.

The Prince of Wales visited Monkhall Farm in Herefordshire, where he met Harry Davies, the incoming tenant of the Duchy’s first regenerative Farm Business Tenancy.

William spent time speaking with Harry about his plans for the land, showing a keen interest as he heard how the farm will adopt regenerative methods designed to work with nature while maintaining a productive agricultural business.

The Prince later shared a photograph from the visit on Instagram, simply writing: “Regenerative farming in Herefordshire with @theduchyofcornwall.”

The Duchy of Cornwall also shared details of the milestone visit, revealing that the tenancy had officially begun at Monkhall Farm.

Working with its partners at Regenified, the Duchy is supporting Harry as he starts his regenerative agriculture journey.

The organisation will help him understand its approach to regenerative farming, as well as the verification process used to assess the progress being made.
