Prince Harry and Meghan Markle received some “royal treatment” following their recent setback, as they stepped out for a casual outing.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen taking a stroll on Thursday as they headed to a pub in Cotswold, which is close to where they are residing.
The pair appeared in high-spirits as they were seen without their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

A few weeks priors, King Charles had cleared the stance on the Sussexes royal status, noting that they were “private citizens”, which they responded via a statement that they were “taken aback” by the move. It is key to point out that Harry and Meghan have not expressed the desire to return as working royals with their return to Britain.
“Everyone here gets the royal treatment,” an insider from the pub told The Sun, adding “it doesn’t matter who you are.”
They added, “We’re lucky to get lots of different people visiting us, and everyone is treated like a local. When they visited, Harry and Meghan just acted like locals.”
Clearly, the couple in not looking for unnecessary special treatment and are staying loyal to their designated status.
Another friend also told the outlet that Harry and Meghan are “enjoying exploring the area including local watering holes” during the time they get off from their individual engagements.

The Duke of Sussex is focussed on his charitable work including the upcoming Invictus Games in Birmingham. Meanwhile, Meghan is busy with settling the children in their new environment and her brand, As Ever.
