Lindsay Lohan drops new photo dump on Mean Girls Day eve

Lindsay Lohan is giving fans a little glimpse into her life just in time for one of the most beloved dates on the pop-culture calendar.

On Friday, October 2, the Freaky Friday star shared a new photo dump on Instagram, featuring a montage of snapshots from her recent days.

She kept the caption simple, using only a victory-hand emoji, a laughing face, a red heart and a flying-kiss emoji.

The carousel opened with a selfie of the Mean Girls alum in a studio before moving through a series of more personal and playful moments.

Among the photos was a photo of the actress smiling brightly, followed by an adorable overhead glimpse of her son sitting on a carpet and playing with his toys.

The Parent Trap actress also shared a selfie captured during a relaxing moment soaking in a warm bath surrounded by red light, and a mirror selfie in which she posed with a pout and a victory sign.

While the latest series of photos offered plenty for fans to look through, it was the timing of the post that really caught their attention.

With October 3 just around the corner, fans quickly filled the former Disney star’s comments with the line that has become permanently associated with both the actress and the date.

“It’s October 3rd,” one reminded her of Mean Girls Day.

Other chimed in with a crying emoji, “It’s October 3rd.”

“It’s October 3rd!!!!” a third wrote with a pink heart emoji.

A fourth added, “Happy October 3rd queen!!!”

And there were plenty more variations of the same iconic message.
