Gun wielding lover creates scene at Lahore office

LAHORE: A gun wielding young man created chaos at a private office by threatening to commit suicide if he was not allowed to meet a young woman he claimed to be romantically involved with.

The gunman identified as Kamran entered the office of a private airline located in Civil Line area near Shimla Pahari around 5:00 and tried to talk to the girl who refused to meet him and hid in a washroom. Kamran took the staff hostage and demanded he be allowed to meet the girl or else he would commit suicide.

He claimed that the girl used to love him before she declared him to be a brother after a three-year affair.

When grabbed by the police, Kamran fired a shot into the air and fortunately no one was hurt. He has been taken into police custody.
