KARACHI: At least three people were killed and three others injured in a series of hand grenade attacks in the Lyari area of the city on Wednesday.
Clashes have been reported between rival groups and gang warfare has once again intensified in the troubled locality of the city.
Today's hand grenade attacks took place near the Juna Masjid.
Analysts fear a fresh wave offensives is about to hit the oldest neighbourhood of Karachi, which is caught in the middle of a turf war.
In Lyari, a dense network of slums housing over a million people, criminal gangs operate freely, exerting total control over businesses and residents.
