KARACHI: Tracking a global tumble Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) lost above 332 points to retreat at 26,670.60 level on Monday.
The benchmark 100-Index plunged by 1.23 percent.
Analysts say the global sell-off had a somewhat domino effect on the local bourse.
Index heavy-weights like Oil and Gas Development Co Ltd, Muslim Commercial Bank Ltd, and Engro Corporation Ltd suffered massive offloading.
Oil and Gas Development Co Ltd fell 2.16 percent to 273.50 rupees while Engro Corporation Ltd shed 3.32 percent to 173.60 rupees.
