According to the excise department there is no record of the Suzuki pickup with chassis number 264407. The non availability of record for the vehicle may create hurdles in the investigation.
Chaudhry Aslam who led operations against terrorists and extremists in Karachi was killed on January 9 when an explosive laden vehicle was rammed into his car on the Lyari Expressway. His guard and driver were also killed in the attack.
