Awaiting Taliban’s response: Rashid
ISLAMABAD: The deadlock in talks between the committees formed by the government and Taliban persists.

Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid says the ball is in the court of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the government is waiting for their response.

The information minister adds the future course of action will be decided after a response is received from the Taliban.

Earlier, member Taliban committee, Professor Ibrahim said no contact has been made from his side with the government committee thus far.

Talking to Geo News, Professor Ibrahim said he could not say how things would improve and the peace process could only make headway through talks.
