LAHORE: Strict security arrangements have been made for the Punjab Assembly (PA) session, which will start on Friday at 3pm.
Speaker Rana Muhammed Iqbal will preside over the session. Special squads of quick response police and commandoes will be deployed in and around the assembly premises.
According to PA Deputy Chief Security Officer Nasir Mehmood, on the special directive of the PA speaker, extraordinary security arrangements had been made for legislators and media persons.
He added special metal detectors had been provided to security staff and high tech walkthrough gates installed at entry points of the assembly.
