SYLHET: Zimbabwe set a moderate target of 164 for Ireland in the third match (Group ‘B’) of the fifth ICC World Twenty20 first round here at the Sylhet Divisional Stadium on Monday.

Zimbabwe made 163 runs for five wickets with the help of a brilliant 59 by their captain Brendan Taylor after Ireland captain William Porterfield won the toss and elected to field first.

No other batsman could make any significant contribution as the second top scorer was Elton Chigumbura who scored an unbeaten 22, followed by Hamilton Masakadza (21).

Taylor, leading from the front, hit six fours and two sixes in his 46-ball innings.

For Ireland, George Dockrell and Andy McBrine claimed two wickets each for 18 and 26, respectively.
