Rajasthan win against Kolkata on boundary count
ABU DHABI: Rajasthan Royals, facing a certain defeat from Kolkata Knight Riders, controlled their nerves to tie the match in a sensational way here at the Sheikh Zayad Stadium on Tuesday.

Winning the toss, Rajasthan batted first and made 152 for five in the 20 overs with the help of a brilliant 72 by opener Ajinkya Rahane.

In reply, Kolkata were going steady towards a victory, reaching 137 for four in 18 overs. They needed just 16 runs from 12 balls with six wickets in hand.

However, some intelligent bowling by James Faulkner and Kane Richardson, denied Kolkata a certain win as they could make only 15 runs losing four wickets sending the match to the super over.

The excitement wasn't over yet as Kolkata batting first in the super over scored 12 to set a target of 13 runs for Rajasthan to win.

Rajasthan also managed to score 12 runs in their super over but won the exciting match on boundary count.
